Well I just started using photoshop today and i started to do some tutorials. I came to a problem where i cannot use some tools on a shape... First i make the backround, then i make new layer, then i make a circle with the Ellipse tool, then i attempt to use another tool on this layer such as the Burn tool and a error comes up saying 'Could not use the burn tool because the content of the layer is not directly editable' There may be a simple solution but i would appretiate the help.
